I am a die hard ginger snap fan and this is my new favourite cookie recipe!  My mom clipped it out of Alive magazine for me, knowing full well that it would be right up my alley.  I love that it's a healthier version but still tatses amazing.

 I was hungry and in the mood for something very green. I could see some of the spinach and swiss chard getting that sad, wilty look to them and I immediately decided to make this tart to use up my greens. This tart is simple, nutritious and very easy to prepare- especially if you use Elana's recipe for the crust. I have made this time and time again and it always seems to come out just right. 

 

So here it is:

 

 It's amazing how easy it is to create a truly deicious frozen dessert. I keep shying away from these kind of recipes because I always think to myself: I don't have an ice cream maker! But guess what? You don't need one. And after this frozen yoghurt I recently made, I will never think twice about it.

These merry little orbs do indeed live up to their name. They make me happy every time I pop one in my mouth!  

I have been on the hunt for a recipe like this for awhile: a quick, easy snack for keeping my energy going in between meals that is high in protein and low in sugar.  So many of the packaged bars in grocery stores are too sweet, even the "healthy" ones.  And you can make these merry orbs for a fraction of the price. I know that avocado is a fruit but have always enjoyed it as a vegetable. So you can imagine my surprise (and delight!) when I came across this recipe for Chocolate Pudding.  I'm always excited to find new ways to indulge in chocolate without feeling guilty.  If the base of this pudding is avocado then I figure it's practically a meal, not just dessert!  Only four ingredients too so it's super easy to make.
